Alexander Ekman łączy taniec, teatr, muzykę i śpiew w wysokoenergetyczny spektakl, który eksploruje temat zabawy na różnych etapach życia. Reżyser i choreograf zamienił jedne z najbardziej poważnych miejsc na świecie — Operę Narodową w Paryżu w ogromny plac zabaw, gdzie tancerze nurkują do basenu z plastikowymi piłkami, a leśne stworzenia pląsają na białych pudłach i linach. Jakie znaczenie ma umiejętność czystej i nieokiełznanej zabawy, gdy stajemy się dorośli? Jak na nowo odkryć radość z zabawy? 

Alexander Ekman (1984) 

Szwedzki tancerz i choreograf. Po zakończeniu kariery tanecznej skupił się wyłącznie na choreografii, często również komponując muzykę i projektując dekoracje do swoich utworów. Ekman współpracuje z zespołami tanecznymi na całym świecie. W 2014 roku stworzył swoją wersję „Jeziora Łabędziego”, która spotkała się z ogromnym, światowym zainteresowaniem. W inscenizacji choreograf wykorzystał 6 000 litrów wody do stworzenia naturalnego jeziora na scenie. Ekman znany jest z szybkiego tempa, błyskotliwego humoru i sprytnych przejść. Jego celem jest tworzenie dzieł, z którymi większość może się utożsamić, które bawią i zadają pytania odbiorcom. Stara się zaskakiwać i zmieniać atmosferę na widowni.

2017 Kreativ: A Study in Creativity by Alexander Ekman

DESCRIPTION

Alexander Ekman combines dance, theatre, music and singing in a high-energy performance that explores the theme of play at different stages of life. The director and choreographer has turned one of the world's most prestigious and serious venues, the National Opera in Paris, into a huge playground where dancers dive into a pool of plastic balls and forest creatures tangle on white boxes and ropes. What is the importance of being able to play pure and unbridled when we become adults? How do we rediscover the joy of play?

Alexander Ekman (1984)

Swedish dancer and choreographer. After a dance career focused solely on choreography, often composing music and designing decor for his pieces. Ekman works worldwide with companies. In 2014, he created his version of "Swan Lake", receiving enormous attention worldwide. Ekman used 6,000 litres of water to make a natural lake on stage. Ekman is known for his fast-paced timing, witty humour and clever transitions. He aims to create work that the majority can relate to, that entertain and question the observer, he seeks to surprise and transform the atmosphere in the audience.
