OPIS

Na film złożyły się ujęcia z 13 lat wspólnej pracy reżyserki, Lei Glob oraz portretowanej artystki, Apolonii Sokol. Granica między sztuką filmową, a bohaterką filmu zaciera się, a z synergii dwóch twórczych kobiet powstał portret życia, portret epoki, portret artystycznej bohemy. Apolonia urodziła się w środowisku artystycznym, studiowała na prestiżowej the Beaux-Arts de Paris. Szuka twórcza drogi w świecie, w którym ciągle jeszcze artystka znaczy mniej niż artysta, ale też kreator znaczy mniej niż jego_jej dzieło.

REŻYSER

Lea Glob (1982)

Duńska reżyserka i producentka. Ukończyła studia dokumentalne w Duńskiej Narodowej Szkole Filmowej. Pracowała jako fotografka filmowa i wideo, a przed filmem „Apolonia, Apolonia” wyreżyserowała dwa nagradzane filmy dokumentalne. Lea Glob mieszka w Kopenhadze, gdzie wykłada w Narodowej Szkole Filmowej.

DESCRIPTION

The film consists of footage from 13 years of joint work between director Lea Glob and the portrayed artist Apolonia Sokol. The boundaries between cinematography and the film's protagonist blur, and from the synergy of the two creative women emerges a portrait of life, a portrait of an era, a portrait of artistic bohemia. Born into an artistic milieu, Apolonia studied at the prestigious Beaux-Arts de Paris and seeks her artistic path in a world where the artist still means less than the creator, but also the creator means less than his or her work.

DIRECTOR

Lea Glob (1982)

Danish director and chief operating officer. Graduated from the documentary programme at the National Film School of Denmark. She has worked as a still and video photographer and directed two award-winning documentaries prior to "Apolonia, Apolonia". Lea Glob lives in Copenhagen where she teaches at the National Film School.
