Małżeństwo 40-letniej Sophie z Xavierem trwa już dziesięć lat, jest stabilne i zgodne. Rzemieślnikiem, który ma się zająć remontem jest Sylvain i kiedy spotyka Sophie wybucha między nimi gwałtowne, pełne pasji uczucie. Zagrała role w filmach Denys Arcand, Anne Emond i Xaviera Dolana. „Quelqu'un d'extraordinaire” to jej pierwszy film jako scenarzystki i reżyserki. W „Miłości mojego brata” ponownie staje za kamerą, a jej pełnometrażowy debiut fabularny został pokazany w Cannes i nagrodzony przez Jury Coup de Coeur sekcji Un Certain Regard. Jej najnowszy obraz „Natura miłości” również prezentowany był publiczności po raz pierwszy na FF w Cannes.

DESCRIPTION

The marriage between 40-year-old Sophie and Xavier has now lasted ten years and is stable and compatible. The spouses correspond intellectually and are very friendly, even if they sleep in separate beds they are close to each other. Sophia and Xavier decide to renew theirs. The craftsman to take care of the renovation is Sylvain and when he meets Sophie a violent, passionate feeling erupts between them. How will the relationship between the expert craftsman from a working-class family and the scientist, a philosophy major, develop?

Monia Chokri (1983) 

A Canadian actress, writer and director from Quebec. She has played roles in films by Denys Arcand, Anne Emond and Xavier Dolan. "An Extraordinary Person" is her first film as a writer and director. In "A Brother's Love" she is back behind the camera, and her feature debut was screened at Cannes and awarded by the Coup de Coeur Jury of the Un Certain Regard section. Her latest picture "The Nature of Love" was also presented for the first time at Cannes.
